From looking at the work of Bill Viola- (http://www.sfmoma.org/espace/viola/fr_splash.html) I have been thinking about time, and doing different edits, slowing shots down and speeding them up. All my tests are a minute long, but they seem to be different lengths. I like the sound speaking makes when it's slowed right down. None of my tests are proper stories - just the hand tapping or a mouth moving, but slowed right down they are quite scary and odd. If they were on a big screen it could be effective. Need to think about how I'm going to stage the final piece.
